Together with the team, I facilitated a workshop where we strategized which online channels would be most effective. We also mapped out how to communicate on each channel and how to take customers on a journey. This involved delving into different customer profiles and the subtleties of skateboard culture.

Banzai Re-Established

With its timeless skateboard design, Banzai Inc. carved out a place for itself in the history of skateboarding back in the 1970s. But after decades of dormancy, the brand's new owners were gearing up for a relaunch, complete with an entirely new lineup of skateboards and products. They enlisted my help to develop a digital marketing strategy that would reintroduce Banzai to the online world.

A vintage brand in a digital world

I spearheaded the execution of the digital marketing strategy, which encompassed Facebook and Instagram ads, Google search ads, newsletter mailings, and a social media content schedule. In the first few months, testing was crucial, as the skateboarding scene had mixed reactions to Banzai's comeback. But by identifying the right channels and crafting the right messaging, Banzai eventually found its footing and a clear vision for moving forward.
